Wash IN School (WINS)

Wash in School (WINS) is about water, sanitation, and hygiene in school. This includes handwashing, toothbrushing, cleanliness of surroundings and comfort room, proper waste disposal, functional water station, water testing, and deworming.

This program promotes clean and safe school environment and correct hygiene and sanitation practice among learners.

QNHS' performance, based from the guidelines on the three-star approach, receives only two stars.

"Para natin makamit ang three-star sa WINS, kailangan tayong mapurga natin ay 90% ng bata," Ma'am Uy explained.

She added that the school is not capable of achieving the three-star because deworming is in the hands of the parents, and with the number of students in QNHS, it is unlikely to reach the 90% cut of dewormed students.
